9 Eyeshadow Looks to Master by Age 30

Looking down

Want a polished look for everyday wear, work, meetings with teachers, and other events where you don’t really feel like you should make a statement with your eyeshadow (even if expertly applied)? Choose a muted, neutral palette with shadows that have a matte or satin finish. Look for shades that work with the undertones in your skin and apply a shade that’s about the same as your skin tone to your lid. Choose a shade or two darker for the crease and apply there, flicking the end up at the outside of the crease to give yourself the illusion of lifted eyes (especially nice if you’re tired). You can add a third, darker, shade to the edge of the outer corner, but it’s not necessary. Highlight under the brow with a shade lighter than your skin tone.
